My journey started in 2017 during my internship at the dutch ministry of defense making 3D models for training simulators.

Here i got introduced to Bitcoin and crypto for the second time, as most of ignored Bitcoin the first time we heard of it.

Growing up playing videogames and being a game artist at the time, the concept digital scarcity suddenly made perfect sense to me.

The values of crypto also aligned with my libertairian values and i decided to pivot from being a 3D and graphic designer to learning about crypto.

First learning about Bitcoin mainly through talks of Andreas Antolopolus, the concepts of separating money and state deeply resonated, i was not drawn to mining, but was one of the first 400 lightning nodes on the Bitcoin Lightning network, (source: trust me bro)

During the bearmarket of 2018 i started to learn about Ethereum and its more expressive potential compared to Bitcoin, here i found the initial sparks of what turned into what we now call DeFi and watched it evolve into the complex multi layer, and multi chain state it is in today.

I've been an active trader, but felt unfulfilled as a just a speculator and wanted to get more involved. So i statted to look for work and thanks to DegenScore i got my first job at Keom, a lending platform and at the time also yield aggregator.

Since then i've worked for several other projects, from NFT lending to a restaking secured layer 1.

Currently im still exploring new blockchain ecosystems like TON, Alephium and others.

I’ve also started angel investing in early stage projects i find promising and advising projects.
